Submission of Notarized Affidavit of Undertaking For the Submission of Business/Mayor’s Permit in Relation to the Processing of Alien Employment Permit
As per DOLE NCR Advisory No. 23-07, to continuously improve the processing of the Alien Employment Permits (AEPs), the submission of the Notarized Affidavit of Undertaking attached to the company’s valid business or mayor’s permit and official receipt or a certificate from the issuing authority/BPLO for the 2024 calendar year, will continue on January 02, 2024.
Note that the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) shall not honor the submission of the notarized affidavit of undertaking for newly incorporated establishments, regardless of whether it is a corporation, partnership, or sole proprietorship. They are instructed to file their application and submit the Certified True Copy of their entity’s approved Business/Mayor’s Permit. Failure to comply will result in outright denial of their application.
In the absence of the above-mentioned documents, it will be a basis for an outright denial in the processing of any AEP application filed in DOLE-NCR.
Furthermore, the deadline for the submission of undertaking and proof of renewal application for the Mayor’s Permit is only until February 29, 2024. Otherwise, the application will not be accepted in the office. The submission of CTC of their valid Business Permit is necessary. This is for strict compliance.
